A Prophetic Word regarding the Revival Alliance Gathering, Sept 2011

The prophetic word given below appears exactly (apart from formatting for the website) as it was written down and distributed by Christen Forster at the inception vision-sharing meeting for the Revival Alliance gathering to be held in Sept 2011 at Marsham Street in Westminister.

On Monday 15th of November 2010.....

I was praying about the Revival Alliance gathering in Sept 2011. I felt the Lord led me to Ezra 4:24-5:2. He then started connecting ideas in my head and so I wrote them down as a flow of thoughts. I have re-written them here.

“So the work on the House of the Lord stopped[1], but people kept working on their own houses. The worked stopped for 14 years[2], though the foundation was laid and the altar was in place. 
 

But now the Lord say to those that dwell in their own houses[3], ‘it is time to build a house for me to dwell in, God who even the heavens cannot contain will dwell in a house whose walls are the Holy Spirit[4]’.

 

Then the Prophets Haggai and Zechariah, together with Zerubbabel who was of the line of Kings and Jeshua the Priest rose up to re-build the house of God.

 

And so I am bringing together: Priests, who are the custodians of my presence; Prophets, who are the custodians of the purposes and plans of Heaven; and Kings who are the custodians of my people and projects. To build Ezekiel’s temple in this United Kingdom.”

I also wondered about the ref to Ezekiel 42 and the temple he sees surrounded by four “winds” or expressions of the “Spirit”, (ruach). I noticed a ref to Zechariah in the margin of my Bible and as I had referred to Zechariah in what I had written down, I looked it up and noticed that it was a reference to the Lord freeing and gathering people from the “four winds”, God then promises to dwell in their midst, Zech 2:6+11. I also noticed that the reference to gathering from the “four winds” is an image used by Jesus for a great harvest! Matt 24:3.

 
Please note that when properly understood this ref to the harvest is not just the one that happens as Jesus comes again, it the whole harvest of the age between the first “coming in clouds” at Jesus ascension and his second “coming in clouds”, more generally it is a sign of Christ’s immanence so is relevant to all revival situations where his presence is tangible. So I am not claiming the “word” I have written down above is related to the second coming of Jesus, just that the imagery goes with his coming presence and a gathering in of people from all directions.

I don’t have obvious Biblical references to justify the custodian statements above, I noticed that Prophets, Priests and Kings where all in involved in the rebuilding and these phrases flowed out as I thought about this.
